AMAZING RESULTS
»
We have hardwood oak engineered floors. We recently purchased an extremely heavy credenza for our living room. It must way about 200 pounds. Atop of it we put a brand new 50" plasma television, which weighs 95lbs. We have had to move this thing back and forth several times to accommodate new cable boxes, DVD players, and what not. This would have been impossible for me and my fiancee were it not for the magic sliders. But, with the Magic Sliders, I am able to move the entire 300 pound contraption easily by myself. I used the adhesive 25mm square ones (one per leg, for a total of four little squares). I truly was AMAZED that these four little suckers could make moving 300 lbs so easy, but they really do what they say they will. I did clean the floor before moving, so that I didn't have the problem that the person with the bamboo flooring had. Quite the contrary, as you can tell from my 5 star review, they have worked perfectly.

Absolutely Worthless!!
»
With high hopes based on the claims on the packaging, I installed the triangular pieces as well as the rectangular strips all along the bottom of a 250 lb. computer cabinet on carpeting. The strips do absolutely nothing at all to move the piece, despite claims to move several thousand lbs. Save your money, at least on carpeting, as this product is total hype and nothing more!!!

NOT FOR HARDWOOD!!!
»
I bought these after we installed a new bamboo floor. It said on the package that they were appropiate for hardwood. Bamboo does not have a great reputation for scratch resistance, but these things definitely exaserbated that. If any small touch of grime catches under the pad when you are moving the furniture, it drags it and leaves a huge scratch in its path. Also, the pads on the dining room chairs (which get moved alot) were practically falling off after two days. If you have hardwood, felt is definitely a better bet. Just resign yourself to replacing them periodically.

Worth the extra price.
»
I am quite skeptical by nature and when I saw these, I bought only enough for my dining room chairs as every felt pad that I have used eventually (generally sooner than later) falls apart, falls off, and the movement is never smooth.
These babies are amazing. I put them on my dining room chairs (beyond easy to attach) and they move as if they were on ice. I just made a purchase to cover my sofas, dining room table, coffee tables, and the list of things that I can use it for keep growing.
When I saw thae infamous "Like Seen On TV", I laughed as I tend to think that most of these things tend to be junky products that make empty promises. I am very surprised and quite happy to have spent the extra money that it cost versus conventional felt floor protectors. They come in different sizes and they are not that easy to find online.
