Rust accelerant

I recently applied this product to the tops of my tablesaw, joiner, and bandsaw, and was startled to find, about two weeks later, a coating of rust on all three machines. In fact, I was able to detect small pactches on the sides of the machine tables where I had neglected to apply the product, and where the metal had still not rusted. This is a ridiculously poor product. Perhaps it was due to the temperatures dropping into the 20s, but DO NOT purchase and use this product to protect bare metal on woodworking machines that are going to be unused for a few months during the winter. Quite possibly the worse single product I have ever purchased.

Excellent product, did exactly was it was advertised to do. It three or four applications and elbow grease to get my table saw top to the condition I wanted but I am very satisfied with the product.

Rust-away
»
This product will remove light rust from raw metal surfaces. I used it on my wood joiner, table saw and band saw. It worked great. However, you will notice discoloration in the areas where rust had been. After using the sealer the surfaces were back to their original smoothness. It was worth the money if you have no other similar products at home.

Exactly what it says
»
Top Saver claims to clean, polish, wax and protect the surface of your tools...and it's done all of those for me. From my brand new tablesaw that needed to be cleaned initially, to an old rusty scroll saw, both surfaces are clean and smooth for use now. Glad I bought it instead of separate cleaners and waxes.
