After over a month of research, I bit the bullet and bought this Bunn. I wavered over this model and the thermal carafe model. No worries, no regrets. This is by far THE BEST coffee maker out there and it makes the BEST tasting coffee. We like our coffee strong but certainly not bitter. The Bunn brewing method brings it!! I was concerned from various reviews about the carafe leaking when pouring into your cup but we have not experienced that at all. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a process to get started and following the manufacturers directions is a necessity. As always, amazon had the BEST price and shipping was lightening fast!!! Bye Bye Mr. Coffee, we are now a Bunn Family!!

Makes great coffee, I do not leave the unit on to keep the water hot but turn it on about 15 minutes prior to putting decanter water in to brew coffee, saves on the energy.
I would have rated this a 5 but Bunn websight boasts that their coffee makers are American made (box says Canada)
I value purchasing American made products. Amazon service fantastic as always

I shopped around for this item and it cost more at other stores and web-sites. I found it here at Amazon.com and was extremely happy with my purchase. The ease of purchase was a plus and the best part was that it came with free shipping. I love this coffee maker and would purchase it again and recommend it to others.

This is the 3rd Bunn Coffeemaker I've owned in the last 8 years. The first one was given to me as a gift, and I've been hooked ever since. I can't imagine waiting for more than 3 minutes for a fresh pot of cofffee ever again. I don't care for all the fancy machines out there with all the buttons and gizmos. Who needs all that nonsense? Give me a reliable, fast, and easy to use machine, that's easy to maintain and makes a great pot of cofffee to use everyday,and I'll be a happy camper for life!
