These extension cords are Construction Grade 100% copper, 10 gauge wire with a Triple Tap plug at one end. Its a great product, and is typically quite expensive. You can plan on paying about $1 per foot for this kind of cord. Amazon, and their source, did an excellent job supplying this product at a low cost, (even factoring in the high freight costs - due to the weight). I couldn't be more thrilled. The source did a great job keeping me informed regarding delivery.
